Products Description
SFF-8643 is a 36-pin high-density Mini SAS connector with plastic housing designed for internal connections, primarily used for HD SAS internal interconnect solutions. Typical applications include internal SAS links between SAS Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) and SAS drive subsystems. Compliant with SAS 3.0 specification, it supports 12Gbps data transfer rates. Its external counterpart is the SFF-8644 (HD MiniSAS external connector), which also supports SAS 3.0's 12Gbps transmission speed. Both SFF-8643 and SFF-8644 support up to 4-port (4-lane) SAS configurations.
